• The Xinda humanoid robot
The Xinda humanoid robot "joins" the Haier factory. Have robots really started working in factories?
Humanoid robots can not only dance and box, but also perform factory work, becoming a future productivity tool. Recently, Haier's interconnected refrigerator factory in Chongqing introduced a humanoid robot, Xinda. It can not only lubricate refrigerator door hinges but also perform more complex material handling and intelligent inspections. Some may ask, given the maturity of industrial robots, why do factories still need humanoid or humanoid-like embodied intelligent robots? In reality, high-speed industrial robots are efficient and stable, but they lack the flexibility to adapt to specific scenarios and collaborate across processes.

NI deepens its local strategy in China; Nigel debuts and outlines a new blueprint for AI-driven intelligent testing
AI is becoming a value explosion point in various industries. As this wave of change sweeps across the test and measurement field, the industry has also ushered in a cutting-edge response to this trend. At NI Days 2025, NI AI assistant Nigel officially entered the Chinese market, demonstrating its deep adaptability in test and measurement scenarios. The continuous evolution of platform-based testing and the "In China, for China" localization strategy formed the main narrative of NI Days 2025. The collaboration between NI and NIO vividly demonstrated how innovation in test and measurement technology can accurately capture market opportunities. NI, the National Innovation Center of the Yangtze River Delta (NICE), and Panxin Technology collaborated to overcome SiC device testing challenges, filling a gap in domestic technology and demonstrating the strong potential of a win-win ecosystem. The launch of multiple new software and hardware products further culminated in a climax.

UBTECH Robotics wins another 126 million yuan order in October, bringing its annual Walker humanoid robot orders to over 630 million yuan!
On October 16, UBTECH Robotics (9880.HK), the "first listed company in the humanoid robot industry," won the bid for the "Guangxi Embodied Intelligent Data Acquisition and Testing Center Equipment Procurement and Installation" project, with an order value of 126 million yuan. According to the project plan, the purchase includes UBTECH's latest fully autonomous embodied intelligent humanoid robot, the Walker S2, capable of self-replacing its battery. Delivery is scheduled for 2025 following contract signing. This successful bid marks another significant humanoid robot order exceeding 100 million yuan for UBTECH, following its recent success in securing the world's largest single order of 250 million yuan in September and subsequent orders exceeding tens of millions of yuan. To date, UBTECH's Walker series of humanoid robots alone has secured over 630 million yuan in orders, excluding the marathon-championing, full-scale humanoid robot Tiangong Walker, jointly developed by UBTECH and the Beijing Guodi Embodied Intelligence Innovation Center. UBTECH continues to lead the global humanoid robot commercialization process.
