The Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology recently officially released the list of exemplary "Robot+" application cases for Shenzhen in 2026; Dobot was successfully selected for its project titled "Multi-scenario Application of Multi-form Embodied AI Robots in CNC Production Workshops." This selection process marks a pivotal step in implementing the national "Robot+" Application Action Plan in Shenzhen, aiming to accelerate the cultivation of benchmark enterprises that serve as models for robotic applications. Leveraging its technological breakthroughs and consistent product delivery in the field of embodied AI robotics, Dobot is transforming robots—equipped with autonomous environmental perception and dexterous manipulation capabilities—into scalable, replicable, and tangible productivity for industries such as automotive manufacturing and 3C electronics.
Siemens has announced a strategic partnership with Jack Technology Co., Ltd. (Jack Technology), a global provider of integrated smart connectivity solutions combining hardware and software. Leveraging Siemens' technology, the collaboration aims to accelerate Jack Technology's digital innovation across the entire garment manufacturing value chain. By integrating Siemens' solutions for low-code application development, product engineering, and intelligent automation, the partnership seeks to create a more flexible, agile, and software-centric production environment. Under the terms of the partnership, Jack Technology will deploy two core products from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio: Intelligence Center X—Siemens’ new industrial AI orchestration software—to implement low-code agent development capabilities via Mendix; and Siemens Designcenter™ software for high-end product engineering and R&D. This integrated solution effectively streamlines product development workflows and reduces R&D complexity, while providing end-to-end technical support for the large-scale application of artificial intelligence (AI) and humanoid robots in the garment manufacturing sector.
ABB has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with industrial decarbonization company Alcemy to jointly explore AI-based solutions for assessing the quality of cement and concrete. By combining ABB’s expertise in automation and process control with Alcemy’s predictive technology, the agreement aims to optimize cement production processes globally while reducing emissions. Integrating predictive quality insights into plant operations lies at the heart of this collaboration. Alcemy’s solution extracts process and quality data from the ABB Knowledge Manager (KM), analyzes it using machine learning models, and feeds setpoints back to the ABB Ability™ Expert Optimizer (EO). This closed-loop approach aims to improve product consistency and overall plant performance, helping operators better manage fluctuations in the production process.
On the path to sustainable development, Siemens looks beyond its own operations. Guided by our DEGREE framework, we not only focus deeply on carbon reduction but also recognize that a green transition requires collaboration across the entire value chain. Therefore, we extend this green vision across our entire supply chain ecosystem, continuously empowering our partners to turn decarbonization concepts into reality and jointly build a more resilient, green future.
