ABB Bailey Analog Input Modules are specialized high-performance signal conditioning and data acquisition interfaces designed for ABB Bailey INFI 90 and Network 90 distributed control systems (DCS). These modules are built to interface industrial field sensors directly with the DCS system's processing units.
By measuring continuous environmental and process variables—such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and liquid level—the module converts analog physical signals into high-precision digital values for real-time control, monitoring, and data logging. Featuring multi-channel capabilities, fast sampling hardware, robust input protection, and onboard microprocessor diagnostics, ABB Bailey Analog Input Modules ensure continuous signal integrity and high availability in demanding industrial environments.

Hot-Swappable Design: Supports live insertion and removal from the Bailey module mounting unit, enabling maintenance and replacement without shutting down the rack or adjacent processes.
Strict Static Discharge Handling: ESD-sensitive components require electrostatic discharge grounding equipment, such as wrist straps, when handling or configuring module hardware jumper settings.
Proper Termination Assembly Wiring: Ensure field wiring is landed correctly on the corresponding Bailey termination units or dip-cable assemblies before inserting the module into the rack slot.
Loop Power Distribution Verification: Verify whether external 24V DC loop power is required for 2-wire transmitters and check loop resistance to avoid signal drop-off.
