Software Shutdown Procedures: When running a real-time or Windows-based controller, always initiate a proper software shutdown sequence. Cutting power abruptly can corrupt the flash memory or solid-state disk files.
Chassis Slot Constraints: Always install the embedded processor module in the designated slot 1 (the system controller slot) of the PXI Express chassis. Attempting to force it into a standard peripheral slot will damage the backplane connectors.
