Shielding and Noise: Always use shielded twisted-pair cables for encoder and control signals. Ensure the shield is properly clamped to the controller's ground plate to prevent electromagnetic interference.
Phase Sequence: While the motor output (U, V, W) can be connected to the motor, never connect the AC power input to the U, V, W terminals, as this will result in immediate destruction of the controller.
Airflow and Clearance: Maintain the specified clearance above and below the controller for vertical airflow. If the ambient temperature exceeds 45 degrees Celsius, de-rating or forced fan cooling is required.
Software Backup: Regularly back up the controller parameters using the SigmaWin+ software. This ensures that in the event of a hardware failure, a replacement unit can be commissioned instantly with the correct settings.
