The Multi-Function Processor system integrates advanced PID control, redundant capabilities, and high-speed data processing into a single modular architecture. Unlike standard PLCs that focus primarily on discrete manufacturing, this module is engineered for "Hybrid" control—handling both sequence control and continuous process control.
When configured in a redundant system, the module uses a dedicated optical fiber tracking cable to synchronize data between a "Control" CPU and a "Standby" CPU. This ensures that in the event of a hardware failure, the system can switch over in milliseconds without interrupting the controlled process or losing critical data.
