Short Wiring Distances: Keep the connection cables between the filter module and the frequency inverter as short as possible. Long unshielded wires between the filter and the drive will act as antennas, re-radiating high-frequency noise.
Isolation of Input and Output: Do not route the mains input cables of the filter parallel to or in the same cable conduit as the filtered output wires going to the drive, as this will bypass the filtration effects.
Power Grid Compatibility: Ensure the filter matches the specific grid type. Standard RFI filters are designed for TN and TT grids; using them on ungrounded IT networks can cause component overheating and permanent damage unless specifically rated or modified.
