Total Power Budgeting: Ensure that the total power consumed by all inserted modules does not exceed the maximum power delivery capability of the chassis backplane or the external power supply unit.
Pin Inspection: Periodically inspect the backplane connectors for dust, debris, or bent pins. Forcing a module into a damaged slot can result in permanent, non-repairable damage to the underlying base unit circuitry.
