Important Considerations

Fiber Compatibility This specific model (3CB00) is designed for multimode glass fiber. It is not compatible with single-mode fiber or plastic optical fiber (POF). Ensure your fiber infrastructure matches the 860 nm wavelength and multimode specifications.

Fiber Handling Optical connectors must be kept extremely clean. Even microscopic dust particles can cause significant signal attenuation. Always use protective caps when the ports are not in use and clean the BFOC connectors before insertion.

Power Supply Polarity While the module has integrated fusing, ensure correct polarity when wiring the 24V DC supply to avoid potential damage to the signaling contact or internal circuitry.
