• • • The 125800-01 serves as the physical interface for the 3500/25 module. It is a half-height, two-channel component that mounts in the rear of the 3500 rack. Its primary function is to accept input signals from proximity probe transducers or magnetic pickups and provide these as once-per-turn or multi-event-per-turn digital Keyphasor signals. These signals allow other monitor modules in the rack and external diagnostic tools to determine shaft rotative speed and vector parameters such as 1X vibration amplitude and phase. As an internal termination version, it provides direct wiring connection points for field sensors.

      Product Parameters

      Signal Inputs: This module accepts up to two transducer signals. For non-isolated configurations, the input signal range is between +0.8 V and -21.0 V. For isolated versions, the range is between +5 V and -11 V.

      Input Impedance: Minimum of 21.8 kΩ.

      Power Consumption: Typically 3.2 Watts.

      Frequency Range: It supports an input range from 1 to 1,200,000 cpm (0.017 Hz to 20 kHz).

      Signal Accuracy: Accuracy is typically ±1 cpm for signals up to 100 Hz and ±1% for signals up to 20 kHz.

      Threshold Settings: Includes an auto-threshold feature requiring a minimum signal amplitude of 2 volts peak-to-peak. Manual thresholds are user-selectable from 0 to -20 volts DC.

      Outputs: Provides two buffered Keyphasor outputs at the front of the rack via coaxial connectors and two at the back via Euro-style connectors, with a maximum output impedance of 504 Ω.

      Physical Characteristics: The module weighs approximately 0.38 kg (0.84 lbs) and has dimensions of 24.2 cm by 11.2 cm by 2.5 cm.

      Environmental Limits: Operating temperature ranges from -30 °C to +65 °C (-22 °F to +150 °F) for standard modules. Storage temperature is -40 °C to +85 °C (-40 °F to +185 °F). It operates in up to 95% non-condensing humidity.

      Terminal Compatibility: This is an Internal Termination I/O module. It cannot be used with External Termination Blocks. Ensure that your wiring architecture matches the internal termination design of this part.

      Signal Thresholds: For magnetic pickups, the shaft rotative speed must be greater than 200 rpm (3.3 Hz) to provide a reliable trigger. Proper adjustment of the hysteresis and threshold is necessary to prevent "double triggering" on noisy signals.

      Grounding and Safety: Use a grounding wrist strap during installation to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage to the sensitive electronic components.

      Hazardous Area Usage: When used in Class I, Division 2 or Zone 2 areas, ensure the module is installed in a suitable enclosure and that all power is disconnected before removing or inserting the module.
