Standards drive industry development, while safety solidifies the industrial foundation. The 2026 Annual Meeting and Standard Review Session of the National Technical Committee on Machinery Safety (SAC/TC208) was recently held. Industry experts and professionals gathered to review the year's standardization achievements, outline key tasks for the next phase, and conduct a comprehensive review of several important national standards, thereby helping to upgrade and improve my country's machinery safety standardization system. As a co-organizer, Shenzhen Wance Technology Co., Ltd. provided full support to ensure the smooth conduct of the meeting and actively facilitated the implementation of the committee's various initiatives.

The National Technical Committee on Machinery Safety (SAC/TC208) is the core authority for standardization in my country's machinery safety sector. It is primarily responsible for the formulation, revision, and centralized management of standards covering fundamental, general, and specialized aspects of machinery safety nationwide. Additionally, it serves as the domestic counterpart to ISO/TC199, undertaking the vital mission of upgrading domestic standards, aligning them with international standards, and guiding industry safety practices; it acts as a key pillar in driving the safe, compliant, and high-quality development of my country's machinery industry.
