The China-EU Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation Office recently announced the first batch of typical cases of China-EU energy cooperation. The ABB Industrial Center Green Microgrid project in Xiamen, Fujian, jointly developed by ABB (China) Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Torch New Energy Power Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully selected into the list.

This selection is guided by the National Energy Administration and jointly initiated by the China-EU Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation Office and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. It aims to strengthen the confidence in mutually beneficial energy cooperation between China and the EU at the critical juncture of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the EU, create a replicable model project, and then lead and promote the transformation and implementation of more technological innovation results, demonstrate a mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation model, and promote global energy transformation and carbon neutrality.
